Bob Fenske came to Portage in December 1979 with seven years of tax experience.  He graduated from high school, technical college and the university in Eau Claire with high honors at each.

Bob is married to Hope Fenske, the elementary vocal music teacher at Pardeeville, and they have three daughters and two grand children.

Bob began his accounting career even before he graduated from high school by helping, consulting and instructing his fellow accounting classmates.  After high school Bob worked for a public accountant while going to technical college and then to the university.   Bob then spent three years in Ladysmith gaining further experience in farm taxation, auditing and corporate management and accounting.

In 1979 Bob packed his family up and moved to Portage.  Bob became a partner in one of the local CPA firms in 1990 but decided to start a separate business in the spring of 2004.  Bob has actively served his clientele for over 30 years ranging from the sole proprietor to larger corporate businesses with auditing, bookkeeping, tax planning, financial planning, business valuations, payroll, fiduciary accounting, and all the aspects of  tax preparations.

Bob has also served his community on many non-profit projects and organizations from church treasurer to one of the choirboys and from president of the Jaycees to an active member in the Rotary club.

Finally, Bob has focused his career on serving others with sound financial practices which have helped his clients make wise financial decisions.  He looks to provide reasonable, affordable and quality work for his friends, his clients.  “We will try to fit our services to that which is of particular need for our client.  We will not pressure anyone to spend more for something they don’t need but will adjust to providing more when it is needed.  We hope to turn our knowledge of accounting and taxation to the financial benefits of our clients.”
